Sardis Park
February 7th & 19th 2010
We love to take a short walk around the pond at Sardis Park, the ducks are easy to see and there is always something there to photograph.
On the 7th the American Coots were arguing with each other.
A large flock of Cackling Geese were spending time there.
A Greater White-fronted Goose that hangs out with the Cackling Geese decided to come very close to give us a chance to get a close view.
The Lesser Scaups were happy as usual.
American Wigeon were there but not as many as usual.
We had to stop the car for a quick photo opportunity of this pretty Red-tailed Hawk when we were driving in East Chilliwack on the 9th.
