Bald Eagles
February 27th 2010
The Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve has a resident pair of Bald Eagles which have taken up nesting just a few trees south and further into the forest from the heronry. They were busy of the 27th of February with their own housekeeping chores. They surveyed the work of the Great Blue Herons as well as bringing their own sticks and grass to beef up their home. After this activity they managed time for a bit of friskiness in preparation for the young Bald Eagles in their future.
