Manning Park
June 16, 2010
After such a great time at Manning Park, we had to drive up for another visit.
Also, we had to see how the young fledgling Clark’s Nutcrackers were doing.
At the far end of the grass, a very large Raven skipped along the edge of the highway.
Later down the road in another location of Manning Park we found Fairyslipper Calypso Orchids blooming in a corner at the edge of a path.
An interesting Sapsucker gathered insects for its nestlings.
A Chipping Sparrow stopped near the car in the parking lot of our next stop.
Wilson’s Warblers sang and posed for photos.

Yellow-rumped Warblers also sang and posed.

Yellow Warblers were quieter and farther away.
An Orange-crowned Warbler made an appearance.
A few MacGillivray’s Warblers pause in several locations.
