We stopped just outside of the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve on the 3rd of July to photograph a wonderful Turkey Vulture perched on a telephone pole. The photos will speak for themselves. These are one of the largest species of birds that we have in our area.
We also had the fortune to watch a pair of Rufous Hummingbirds in the Buddleia at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve on the 3rd of July. The photos of the busy little creatures will also speak for themselves. These are one of the smallest species of birds that we have in our area.
