March 17th & 18th 2018

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Red-wing Blackbirds were displaying as usual at this time of year.

A Common Merganser was sleeping on a log.

Golden-crowned Sparrows were seen near the parking lot.

An Anna’s Hummingbird was seen near the edge of a trail.

A Song Sparrow was seen nearby.

The Great Blue Herons were busy at the Heronry.

We saw a male and female American Kestrel.

Wood Ducks were checking out nesting holes.

We enjoyed chatting with Frank and David, Cathy with Tula and Rona, Twyla with Gunner, Werner, John Larsen, Sharon and Larry, Paul with Scout, Dave with Finnegan, Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey as well as Helmut.
