We came across a few Fox Sparrows in several different areas, during our walk.

The resident Bald Eagles were communicating to each other near the Heronry.
The Great Blue Herons were hunting for food in the farm fields and busy in the Heronry.
A Beaver swam along near us and finally came to the edge of the water to enjoy a snack for awhile.
Brown Creepers were seen for a second.
Hooded Mergansers were seen near the Heronry.
Mallards are usually seen.
Tree Swallows and Violet Green Swallows were seen in good sized flocks.

We always enjoy chatting with Warner, Doug from Greendale Herb & Vine, Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Alyson with Chesney as well as Frank on the trails. We also enjoyed a nice visit with Valerie and Camille in the Rotary Interpretive Centre Gift Shop.
