We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
A Beaver was seen along the way.
Wood Ducks were seen in a few areas.
Bleeding Hearts were blooming.
A mixed flock of Tree Swallows, Violet-green Swallows and Cliff Swallows were seen at the marshy area past the Heronry.
Cottontail Rabbits were seen along the trails.
Ospreys were continuing nest building.
Great Blue Herons were also nest building. We’ve seen a few juvenile Great Blue Herons from last year’s nesting in the Heronry this year.
A few Common Mergansers were seen.
A Northern Flicker perched on a dead tree.
