We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Several fledgling Great Blue Herons kept us entertained.

A Beaver was treading water near the Heronry.

The Heronry resident Bald Eagle’s chick has fledged.

Northern Flickers were seen near the Main Bridge.

The little Black Phoebe is quite comfortable in its newly found “temporary” home.

A Swainson’s Thrush was seen nearby.

A female Wood Duck had its ducklings out for a swim.

Green Frogs were seen nearby.

An American Goldfinch stretched to reach something to eat.

A Hairy Woodpecker and an American Robin were seen nearby.

A Black-headed Grosbeak was seen near the Rotary Interpretive Centre feeders.

Male Common Yellowthroats were seen in several areas.

We enjoyed seeing Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Alyson with Chesney, Jenny & Bill, William & Connie, Camille, Chloe, Manny, Gabriel, Matt, Amanda, Rick S., Kara with Toffee on the trails and Janet, Hazel, Penny, Linda, Dick in the Rotary Interpretive Centre.
