October 1st to 4th 2022

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

A male Downy Woodpecker was seen near the trail.

One of the resident Bald Eagles flew overhead.

Pied-billed Grebes were seen every day.

A Green Heron was seen on the Salwein Creek loop.

A female Green-winged Teal paddled past.

A Great Blue Heron wandered up near us while we were watching the Green Heron.

House Finches were seen in a few spots.

White-crowned Sparrows were seen in a few areas.

Wood Ducks were seen in many locations.

It was nice to see Charlie with Jack and Bogey, Lynn, Maryanne with Lula, Tina with "Pork 'N' Beans", Disney and Octavius, Randy with Chesney, Erwin with Nova during our walks.
