We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, B.C., Canada.

A few Beavers were seen enjoying snacks before bedtime.

A Red-eyed Vireo was collecting insects for its adopted Brown-headed Cowbirds.

A male Northern Flicker was enjoying eating Red Osier Dogwood berries.

A Green Heron was seen on a log across from the Rotary Interpretive Centre.

We usually see European House Sparrows somewhere on our walks.

A Hutton’s Vireo was seen in the distance.

A female American Kestrel was having a mid-morning meal.

Juvenile American Robins were seen in Red Osier Dogwoods.

A male Wilson’s Warbler was seen near the parking lot.

A few Common Yellowthroat chicks were seen.

We enjoyed seeing Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Alyson with Chesney, Leona, as well as Jenny with Oscar on the trails.
