November 11th to 13th 2017

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Brown Creepers were seen marching up tree trunks.

Pied-billed Grebes were seen in many areas.

A large mixed flock of Gulls was seen, including Glaucous-winged Gulls and Mew Gulls.

Hooded Mergansers were seen in the slough.

The trees are still showing autumn colours.

American Wigeons were seen in many areas.

Mallards were seen in many areas.

Ring-necked Ducks are usually seen at this time of year.

Trumpeter Swans were flying past as we wandered along.

Wood Ducks are usually found in many areas.
