Manning Park

We took another drive to Manning Park today for a few nice walks.

Yellow Warblers were seen again.

Yellow-rumped Warblers were also seen.

Dragonflies were seen near ponds.

A Pale Swallowtail Butterfly enjoyed a moment at the muddy edge of a pond.

We took a drive up to the Dry Ridge Trail and hiked up the road for awhile.

American Robins were seen as well.

Chipmunks were gathering plant seed.

Columbian Ground Squirrels peeked at us over grass. They are not tame like the ones at the Lodge.

Golden-mantled Ground Squirrels were seen in several areas.

Yellow-bellied Marmots were seen.

American Pika were also present, they had added new grass to an old haystack.
