November 1st to 7th 2023

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Red-winged Blackbirds were near the paths.

One of the resident Bald Eagles flew past to land near a flock of European Starlings.

Fox Sparrows were near the Rotary Interpretive Centre feeders.

Pied-billed Grebes were seen in a few locations.

Greater Scaup were seen.

Green-winged Teal were seen in a few areas.

House Finches were seen.

Hooded Mergansers were seen on the water.

Dark-eyed Juncos were seen near the Rotary Interpretive Centre feeders.

A female Ring-necked Duck eyed the sky for predators.

Snow Geese flew overhead in large flocks.

The trees are showing autumn colours.

White-throated Sparrows were at the Rotary Interpretive Centre feeders.

American Wigeon were seen.

Wood Ducks were also seen.
