We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
Red-winged Blackbirds were seen.
Bufflehead have arrived.
Fox Sparrows are here for the winter.
Golden-crowned Sparrows were seen near the Rotary Interpretive Centre feeders and along the trails.
A Pied-billed Grebe was seen from the Salwein Creek Bridge.
A Hairy Woodpecker was eating.
Great Blue Herons were seen in the Salwein Creek.
Hooded Mergansers were seen.

Anna’s Hummingbirds were seen.
Dark-eyed Juncos are here for the winter.
Snow Geese flew overhead.
Northern Shovelers floated past.
Song Sparrows were seen in many areas.
Trumpeter Swans have arrived.
White-throated Sparrows are usually seen at the Rotary Interpretive Centre feeders now.
American Wigeon were seen on the lagoons.
Wood Ducks were seen as usual.

It was nice to see Terry with Bogey, Jody with Jasper and Sellie, Tracy with Indy, Casia with Nyx, Fred, Judy and Manny, Chris, Ron with Ginni, Dennis and Mercedes doing a bird count for the Great Blue Heron Nature Society , Jenny and Bill , Pat and Reg, Ron during our walks.
